Who we are

alcaidesalocal.com is an independent local guide. Contact for anything about your data: hola@alcaidesalocal.com.

What we collect and why

Contact and quote forms: your name, email, phone (optional) and message — to pass your request to the business(es) you asked to contact, and to follow up if something goes wrong.

Reviews: the name you choose (shown publicly), your email (never shown — only used to check the review is genuine) and your review text.

Add / claim / correction / event forms: the details you send — to update or create the listing or event.

Analytics: only if you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics records pages visited and clicks on Call / WhatsApp / Order / Directions buttons. We use it to see which listings people contact and to report totals to businesses. No ads, no data sold.

Who receives it

The business(es) you contact or request a quote from (max 3 for quotes).

Service providers that run the site for us: Supabase (database, EU — Ireland), Vercel (hosting), Resend (sending emails), Google (Analytics, if you accept; business details shown with “© Google” come from Google Maps).

How long we keep it

Enquiries and quote requests: 24 months, then deleted. Reviews: while they're published; ask us and we remove yours. Analytics: Google's default 14 months.
